Skepticism, Thinking No One can Help

Dry Eye sufferers who have seen many doctors, or who have tried countless treatments, can become skeptical, and believe that no one can help them. They may mistrust doctors, or be skeptical about a particular treatment that promises to bring relief.

Skepticism, frustration, and hopelessness often go hand in hand, and can be accompanied by irrational thoughts and behavior. To break out of the cycle, it is important to maintain a positive attitude, and remain hopeful, even though this can seem all but impossible for someone suffering from the debilitating symptoms of Dry Eye.
