Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the clear tissue that covers that white of the eye (bulbar conjunctiva) and the inside of the eye lid (palpebral conjunctiva). Conjunctivitis can cause symptoms of Dry Eye. Aqueous deficiency or evaporative dry eye can cause inflammation of the conjunctiva.
