Epiphora Due to Reflexive Tears

Treating epiphora due to reflexive tears requires treatment of the underlying cause of the epiphora. The possible causes are numerous: evaporative dry eye, aqueous deficiency, conjunctivochalasis, corneal abrasion, foreign body in the eye, allergies to environmental factors or ocular medications, or even sinus issues, among others.

As with other Dry Eye co-morbidities, diagnosis is the key to treatment.
